How did you become a maker?
I needed jewelry for a friend's wedding and couldn't find anything I like, so I picked up a jewelry making kit from the craft store and just fell in love with the process. I also got a lot of compliments on what I had created and people started coming to me to create things for them or to fix jewelry for them.
Why do you create?
I love the process of creating something beautiful. For myself it is also about creating something connected to a Goddess, God or spirit. A lot of my pieces are meant to be wore for ritual or to help you connect to the spirit realm in the everyday, so it is a sacred process. I also love making things, to be able to see something in my mind and then manifest it.
How do you weave sacred or conscious commerce into your products or business operations?
A lot of times I feel inspired by a particular Goddess to create something for them. I feel like the right person finds the right piece and I hope I have helped them connect to the divine through my art. Other times I take my inspiration from reading mythology and creating a piece based on that.
