The paper in the notebooks dyed with organic, fairly-traded coffee (dark roast, to be exact) and dried to create a rustic, crinkly, organic feel. It also gives each page an energizing scent of coffee beans! The journals contain 24 pages (and 2 velum pages, front and back) that can be used for journaling and doodling (not recommended for paint or watercolor). Each journal is bound using natural jute cording, no elastic.
