History: Barn owls are found nearly everywhere in North and South America, Europe, Africa, Australia and some of Asia. They are quite common in much of their range, although in some areas their populations have declined due to pesticide and habitat loss. In some U.S. states, the species is endangered.
Scientific Name: Tyto alba
Characteristics: Each of our mini barn owls are standing guard atop a wooden post, with an alert posture and its wings folded neatly behind it. Size: Each mini figure is about 1" tall.
