The account of an Egyptian mage named Abra-Melin, who taught a system of magic to a Jewish man in Worms, Germany at some point around the turn of the 15th Century. This 19th century translation was an occult hit in its time, important to the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn and to Aleister Crowley's work. The work itself is a sort of grimoire framed as an epistolary autobiography of Abraham of Worms. The magic itself is Kabbalistic and makes heavy use of word squares and injunctions to poverty and humility. (This book may contain a sharpie mark on the top or bottom edge and may show mild signs of shelfwear.)
