Kathe grew up in a family of entrepreneurs in a rural town in Missouri. Her life was transformed when a Chinese missionary came to her church when she was seven, and introduced her to Jesus Christ. God has sustained Kathe through a variety of life challenges and losses including the death of her son. Kathe is a graduate from The Missouri School of Journalism and The University of Phoenix. Kathe loves cold weather, trees, and connecting over coffee. She lives in Phoenix, Arizona with her husband, their three living sons, and two dogs.
